If the student spends the time to research for answers and then change them to fit their own problem doesn&#039;t that allow for some learning? Also, if you are discussing essay or extended answer responses then I believe that if the student has the internet available they should be free to use information they find; as long as such information is cited properly.  However, I think that interpretation of that information must be original.</description>

		<description>This solution only works when the problem itself is something that is deep.  A simple math problem, like 2+2 is not going to help them in anyway.  Put this idea in play for a programming class or project management class then there is something to talk about.  At that point the students should be wanting to come up with an interesting solution.</description>
