World Relgions Visual
Posted on July 12th, 2009 2 commentsI’m a fan of effective visuals. I’m also a fan of world religions. Boy, was I in luck whenever I received this link! It’s a rather interesting perspective on how different religions generally feel about a few hot-button issues.

Going just on these issues, could one’s beliefs align more strongly with a religion other than their own? Does your self-described religion share your beliefs on these issues? Are there more important issues to you?

Two questions:
1. Why is Christianity separated into sects (but lacking information on anyone but Roman Catholics) and the rest of the religions are not?
2. Are the categories of “teen-sex” and “pre-marital sex” not the same thing? Is the graphic depicting whether religious ideologies condemn or allow teen sex when the teenagers are married?
Although I like the conciseness of the chart, I think they could give a little more information.
